Knack is a Mac app that processes files entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, usage data, or file contents.

What we collect

Nothing. Knack runs locally on your Mac. We operate no servers. We have no analytics SDK, no telemetry, no crash reporter that sends data off-device, no user accounts, and no advertising.

Files you process in Knack

Every tool in Knack — Image Convert, Image Compress, PDF Toolkit, OCR, AI Background Remover, AI Upscaler, and all others — runs locally on your Mac using Apple frameworks (Vision, Core ML, PDFKit, Core Image). Your files never leave your device.

In-app purchases

Knack Pro is a one-time purchase processed by Apple through the Mac App Store. Apple handles all payment, billing, and refunds. We do not see or store your payment details. Apple's own privacy policy applies to that transaction — see apple.com/legal/privacy.

Knack verifies purchases locally using StoreKit 2's signed transaction mechanism, which runs entirely on your Mac.

Third-party services

Knack does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or SDKs.
